Evocatal GmbH

Founded in 2006, Evocatal GmbH is a spin-off company of the Institute of Molecular Enzyme Technology of the Heinrich-Heine-University of Duesseldorf. The company’s core competences are the cloning and expression of genes encoding enzyme and the development of new enzymes by directed evolution methods. Enzyme are sold as individual products and in screening sets.Evocatal also produces chiral alcohols produced using ketoreductase enzymes.
