New Mainstream Biocatalysis Newsletter: Profiles on Verenium, Toluene Dioxygenase

by David

The latest Mainstream Biocatalysis Newsletter came out this morning. In this issue we cover the latest company news, publications, and published patent applications. There are also two new profiles. The Company Profile is Verenium Corporation, which is timely since Verenium was recently acquired by BASF. The Enzyme Profile is toluene dioxygenase, an enzyme first discovered by David Gibson in 1958, and which has developed into a useful biocatalyst for creating interesting chemical building blocks with multiple chiral centers.

The Newsletter is free: just sign up in the green box to the right. If you sign up this week we’ll personally send you a copy of today’s newsletter.
